Stratford Schools Pledge

A partnership has been created between the London Borough of Newham and Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Warwickshire, celebrating and promoting links between the two sporting, educational and cultural communities, providing opportunities for competitive sports activities, cultural exchanges and schools visits across all primary, secondary and special schools.

 

All 72 Stratford District schools & 2 FE Colleges will have signed up to a Inspire Stratford pledge which is a commitment to develop the Olympic and Paralympic values through the Get Set Programme across physical activities, artistic and cultural performances and community events and celebrations.

 

The project will also make use of the existing programmes such as the Young Ambassador initiative and Playground to Podium scheme.
