One Body One Life is a 10 week FREE Community based healthy lifestyle programme which is funded by the Coventry Health Improvement Programme (CHIP) partnership between NHS Coventry and Coventry City Council.
The programme focuses on healthy eating and physical activity using behavioural change techniques to enable clients to make achievable changes to their eating and exercise habits.
In 2010 the project worked with Fire brigade in Foleshill to deliver an OBOL session in the their station. This course was a great success and through partnership working it was possible to deliver sessions in the heart of the community, alongside educating clients about fire safety and allowing the clients to see behind the scenes whilst taking part in a physical activity session run by the Fire brigade.
