Coventry and Warwickshire 2012 Partnership

The celebration of Shakespeare’s birthday has been taking place in Stratford for nearly two centuries. This year a number of cultural events will occur between the 22-25^th April which encompass theatre, poetry, music and carnival activity.

The event will also see the launch of the Stratford to Stratford school pledge which is a scheme to have all Stratford District Schools signed up to the London 2012 Get Set Education programme and to participate in sporting a cultural activity with Stratford East London schools in the build up to 2012. This scheme is part of our Stratford to Stratford project.
